The Support Committee

Who Are the Members of the Support Committee?

The committee is open to parents or guardians of cadets and to adults without cadet children who would like to become involved in the cadet Corps. For parents, it is a great way to get a chance to ask questions, get to know other cadet’s parents and keep up to date with your cadet’s activities. Like the cadets, parents make long time friendships as well.

What is the Time Commitment?

You can join the Support Committee as a regular contributor, or volunteer on occasion when you have time. Any amount of time that you can commit will help improve the cadet experience. New volunteers are always welcome!

Why Do We Fundraise?

Working in the background the Support Committee is responsible for raising funds to cover the extra costs that the Corps may incur for team equipment and outings among other things. They coordinate and run tag days, dinners, trips and many other events that enhance the Lindsay Cadet program.

What does the 2817 Support Committee do?
